Most insurance companies cover naturopathic medicine and chiropractic services. Acupuncture visits would be covered under naturopathic medicine for insurance purposes. Naturopathic Massage or Bodywork by Dr. Bohez, ND is covered under naturopathic services. Virtual visits are available for naturopathic medicine, you must be located in Ontario to book this.

Dr. Hamilton, DC is not available in online booking. Email wecare@affinityhealthclinic.ca to book your appointment or call us at 519-662-2123.

Dr. Laura, ND is practicing on alternate Wednesdays and Thursdays. Dr. Maya, ND is in on alternate Mondays. Dr. Bohez, ND is keeping her schedule fluid to provide care throughout the week.

There may be others receiving acupuncture at this time. A relaxing environment has been established so you can get comfortable and enjoy your treatment. Community acupuncture is a way to make acupuncture affordable and accessible to everyone. An initial acupuncture or naturopathic medicine visit is required before booking this. There may be others receiving acupuncture at this time. A relaxing environment has been established so you can get comfortable and enjoy your treatment. You’ll be laying either face up or face down on a table, fully clothed. Please wear loose clothing that will allow access to your arms up to your shoulders and your legs up to your knees.

Note: Cupping is not available during community acupuncture. Electro-stimulation of acupuncture is available during community acupuncture. For insurance purposes, acupuncture would be billed under naturopathic medicine.

Injection Therapy

Intramuscular injection of vitamin B12. You must be a current patient, and have blood work completed in order to book this type of visit. If you are not a current patient, please book an initial naturopathic visit. Dr. Heather Bohez, ND. has been in practice for over two decades and has served as a clinic director for 10 years.

Heather has vast experience treating all ages dealing with a range of health conditions. She uses nutrition first and foremost, along with tailored supplements, herbal medicine, acupuncture, heart math breathing techniques, homeopathy and bodywork/massage to help her patients achieve their health goals and become attuned with their body, mind and spirit.

Naturopathic Bodywork is done fully clothed and Naturopathic Massage is done using traditional massage techniques with skin to skin contact.

Dr. Laura Hoffmann
(She/Her/Hers) ND

Dr. Laura Hoffmann, ND, helps people of all ages to reduce pain, manage their hormones, and optimize the pillars of health: sleep, digestion, exercise, and energy!

Dr. Laura has been trained in evidence-based medicine, hormone replacement therapy, and acupuncture. She uses blood work to thoroughly assess and monitor disease progression. She is skilled in checking for any medication-supplement interactions to ensure safe treatments.

Her practice includes treating a variety of health concerns with a focus on pain management, diabetes, cholesterol, and blood pressure management. She has a special interest in women’s health and menopause hormone therapy and has completed advanced training in safety and prescribing. She enjoys helping women to feel their best no matter which stage of life they are in!

Dr. Maya McCready ND

Dr. Maya’s passion lies in empowering her patients to learn how to care for and heal their own bodies using the principles of naturopathic medicine. She knows firsthand individualized medicine can help us stay healthy, active, and pain free to live our lives to the fullest.

Maya has a special interest in women’s health. Helping women of any age achieve hormonal balance, healthy weight, thyroid balance, healthy adrenals, optimize fertility, and pre/post natal care. She also treats a range of digestive issues, and stress/sleep issues. After having three children of her own, Maya has experienced the exhaustion that comes with the demands of a family and career. She is committed to maintaining balance and joy in her life, and helping others find balance and health in their lives too.

In her free time, Maya enjoys being outdoors, biking, practicing Yoga and Pilates, and spending time with her family.
